About Store Roles

Our Customer Service Associates (CSA) are the friendly faces who greet and serve our customers each day. You’ll handle a variety of tasks from greeting customers and handling the register to preparing delicious food and keeping the store sparkling clean. 

Some Duties Include:
  • Welcome and assist customers with a smile, resolving any issues they have.
  • Operate the cash register, handle payments, and keep the line moving.
  • Stock shelves, manage fuel transactions, and whip up tasty food and drinks.
  • Keep the store clean and follow all safety guidelines.

Key Requirements:
  • Great communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask like a pro.
  • Must be 16+ years old with reliable transportation.

     

As a Fuel Associate (FA) you’ll be the friendly face at our fuel court, ensuring customers have a smooth and enjoyable fueling experience. You’ll handle transactions, keep the fuel area spotless, and provide exceptional service with a smile.

What You’ll Do:
  • Welcome and assist customers at the fuel pump.
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions.
  • Keep the fuel area clean and safe.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Great communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be 16+ years old with reliable transportation.

As a Team Supervisor (TS), you’re the hero of your store and play a vital role in ensuring all aspects of the store operate successfully. You’ll promote team collaboration, drive productivity, ensure great customer service, and maintain strong routines.

What You’ll Do:
  • Deliver outstanding service, swiftly handle inquiries, and gather valuable feedback.
  • Uphold safety, security, quality, and operational standards.
  • Spot opportunities for improvement and share them with your leadership team.
  • Meet with store vendors like a pro.
  • Ensure our store and equipment are in tip-top shape.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • A self-starter who can take charge and mark smart decisions.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.

As a Customer Service Supervisor (CSS) you’ll ensure shifts runs smoothly; making sure our customers are delighted, products are available, and our team is energized. You’ll work with your leadership team to achieve store goals and maximize profitability to help stores soar to success. 

What You’ll Do: 
  • Deliver outstanding service, resolve inquiries, and gather feedback with a smile.
  • Team up with management to boost sales, manage expenses, merchandise product, and support Associate training.
  • Keep our store safe, secure, and sparkling.
  • Handle cash processes like a pro, including deposits, lottery, and gift cards.
  • Keep our shelves stocked and our inventory accurate.
  • Welcome and manage vendor check-ins smoothly.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • A self-starter attitude that takes charge and makes smart decisions.
  • Personal courage to handle issues with ease and efficiency.

Our Food & Beverage Managers (FBM) are the maestros behind our fast-paced food and beverage operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your mission: deliver amazing customer experiences, maintain top-notch food safety and execute all food programs.

What You’ll Do:
  • Keep our food service humming 24/7.
  • Hit performance and profitability goals like a pro.
  • Champion and streamline food service operations and follow planograms.
  • Manage inventory and keep equipment in tip-top shape.
  • Coach, train, and develop our food service Associates.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety, security, and quality.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Leadership experience, especially in restaurant, retail, food service and/or convenience, is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with change implementation and results-driven execution.
  • Ability to analyze trends, create action plans, and drive profitability.

Our Assistant General Managers (AGM) bring energy, leadership, and fun to our stores.  As an AGM, you’ll lead daily operations, delight customers, and inspire our team. From managing inventory to ensuring safety and handling customer inquiries, your role is dynamic and rewarding.
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Promote an unforgettable Wawa experience for our customers. 
  • Hit and surpass key performance metrics and profit targets.
  • Hire, train, and develop Associates; support their success and help them grow.
  • Analyze business results and partner with peers on improvement plans.
  • Build meaningful, lasting, and awesome community partnerships.
  • Lead by example to support Wawa’s policies, procedures, and programs. 

 What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven leadership experience, especially in restaurant, retail, food service and/or convenience, is a plus.
  • Passion to train, coach, and engage team members. 
  • Understanding of store finances and their impact on the business.
     

As the General Manager (GM), you'll be the heart and soul of your store, leading a dynamic team to exceed goals, delight customers, and drive profits. You'll be the leader of the flock, steering your team towards success with creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for excellence.

  • Hit and surpass key performance metrics and profit targets.
  • Cultivate an unforgettable Wawa experience for our customers. 
  • Tackle complex business issues and find solutions.
  • Lead exciting initiatives and ensure smooth program rollouts.
  • Hire, train and develop talent; motivating them to meet their personal and professional goals. Our store leadership teams are comprised of 80% internally promoted Associates!
  • Foster a welcoming and respectful team environment.
  • Build relationships and connect the store with the local community.
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven leadership experience, especially in restaurant, retail, food service and/or convenience, is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for developing people.
  • Exceptional skills in customer service, relationship building, and communication.
  • Strong financial acumen with an understanding of store finances and their business impact.
